I must remember to do this with both my range and splitter switches. At Speed Dawg, our mission is to produce the best performance gear knobs for many different vehicles while providing exceptional customer service. If your switch splitter works, but your range is backwards, you will only have to adjust gearsel1.Įven with this fix, each time you start up the game, you will have to flip both the range switch back and forth before you start to drive for some reason. The trick to flipping your switch directions is the exclamation point (!) characters.Ĭonfig_lines: "mix gearsel1on `! (joy4.b1?0) | semantical.gearsel1on?0`"Ĭonfig_lines: "mix gearsel1off `joy4.b1?0 | semantical.gearsel1off?0`"Ĭonfig_lines: "mix gearsel2on `! (joy4.b2?0) | semantical.gearsel2on?0`"Ĭonfig_lines: "mix gearsel2off `joy4.b2?0| semantical.gearsel2off?0`"įor my shifter, both switches are flipped, so I had to add the exclamation point to both gearsel1 and gearsel2. The numbers might be a bit different for you, and your range/splitter controller may not be joy4. It sounds like how mine works, you have to start in the right position, and have it work as a "button" and not as a "switch."įind these lines in your controls.sii folder. If you have that check mark box set wrong it won't work at all. Make sure under control settings you have it set NOT to work as a switch (uncheck the check mark) below the gear settings (R, 1-> 6, splitter and range). Unfortunately this did not work I did this and it started in low gear 1 to 4 then when I switched to high it did nothing and then went back to the way it has always been :( I wonder if theres a way to actually make windows register the button the other way around with low being off and high being on. ![]() ![]() I’m not saying you aren’t already doing this, but it wires are crossed somewhere and your low is acting like the high, if you load into the game in the opposite position it may work more as intended. Mine’s a really nice one though I ordered from Frank at his 3d shop on Etsy. If I don’t have my range and splitters in the “down” position when I load the game they will work backwards until I go back to the menu and start the game with them in the proper positions. Mine does this, but that’s because I had it custom made to work with farming simulators also.
